This is a 5-page arrangement for solo piano based on a tune composed by the music evangelist, Ira Sankey. The text was based on E.E. Rexford's experience of hearing sweet strange music, which he naturally assumed to be angels. Alejandro Consolacion II was commissioned to arrange this hymn and he really captured that mystery and sweet joy of hearing something so divine and haunting at the same time. Barbara Irene Bennett, creator of Hymns for Worship, performs on the piano.
