This is a solo piano arrangement of “We Have This Hope,” written by Wayne Hooper—a beloved Adventist anthem that once served as a General Conference theme song and is still joyfully sung in many Seventh-day Adventist churches today. In this setting, Alejandro Consolacion II thoughtfully weaves the familiar melody throughout the arrangement—sometimes stated clearly and triumphantly, and at other moments hinted in gentle fragments—so the theme feels like a thread of assurance running from beginning to end. The result is both reflective and confident, echoing the steady hope that has anchored the Advent movement for generations. Barbara Irene Bennett, creator of Hymns for Worship, performs on the piano.
